Website Care — Ashburn, Virginia
We build, host, secure, and update websites for local businesses across Northern Virginia. One flat monthly fee, one real person who answers, zero dashboards for you to babysit.
No pressure. No sales pitch. Fifteen minutes, straight answers.
The Problem
You've got a website somewhere. You're not totally sure who hosts it. You haven't touched it since it launched. Here's what that actually costs you.
You don't own it. You can't change how it ranks. One policy update and your entire customer list is behind someone else's login. A site on your own domain is the one asset a platform can't take back.
Changing your hours shouldn't require a tutorial. Most owners just leave it wrong for six months instead of risking a broken page. Send us a text. It's changed the same day.
Plugins go stale. Certificates expire. Sites get hacked quietly and stay hacked for weeks. You find out when a customer tells you Google is flagging your business as unsafe.
Built the site, cashed the check, disappeared. Now you're paying three separate bills for hosting, domain, and email and you can't log in to any of them. We take all of it over.
What You Get
Every item below is handled for you, every month, on every plan level it appears in. No hourly invoices. No "that's out of scope."
Fast hosting, domain, and certificates on one bill. No separate control panel you have to remember the password to.
$360 / yr valueEvery night, stored off your server, with one-click restore. If something breaks at 4pm on a Friday, we roll it back.
$99 / yr valueRun during low-traffic hours, tested after, rolled back if anything looks off. You never see it happen.
$468 / yr valueChecked every minute. If your site drops, we're alerted and working on it before a customer ever calls you about it.
$144 / yr valueMalware scanning, firewall rules, login hardening, and form-spam filtering. Quiet, constant, invisible.
$300 / yr valueHours, photos, Q&A, review responses, and spam-listing takedowns, managed for you from Growth up. This is the thing that turns a search into a phone call.
$1,500 / yr valueText or email what you need — new hours, a photo swap, a holiday notice, a special. Anything that takes 30 minutes or less is one request, and Growth and up are unlimited.
$720 / yr valueCaching, image compression, database cleanup, broken-link sweeps. A slow site is a site people leave.
$900 / yr valueAccessibility scanning plus privacy-policy and cookie-consent maintenance, with a full ADA/WCAG audit on Enterprise. A copy-pasted 2019 policy is a liability, not a checkbox.
$650 / yr value
About
Founder — Digital Maintenance
Over the past few years I've had similar experiences with multiple local businesses — broken links, difficulty locating via Google search, or redirects to Facebook. I quickly realized what was happening.
Somebody built them a site, took the money, and vanished. Two years later the plugins are eight versions behind, the SSL certificate has expired, the contact form quietly stopped sending email, and nobody noticed because nobody was looking.
That's not a technology problem. It's a nobody-owns-it problem. So I built a business where one person owns it — hosting, security, backups, updates, Google, the whole thing.
No account managers. No ticket portal. You text me. I fix it. The business flourishes.
Pricing
Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel any month. Everything below is the real price — there is no setup fee waiting at the end of a call.
We'll design, build, and launch one — custom, mobile-first, with domain and hosting configured for you — then keep it running on a care plan.
Keep the lights on. For shops and small businesses that just need someone watching the store.
Partner in business. For growing sites that need active, hands-on support every month.
When the website is the business. For revenue-critical sites where an hour of downtime costs more than a year of this plan.
Try any care plan for 30 days. If you decide it isn't worth it, email or text and say so. We refund that month's plan fee — no forms, no exit interview, no "let me transfer you to retention."
To be straight with you about the one limit: the guarantee covers the plan fee. If we completed change requests or project work for you during those 30 days, that work is billed at our standard rate and comes out of the refund. We'll send you the itemized list before we charge a cent, and if you'd rather we just didn't do the work until you're sure, say so and we'll wait.
Either way you leave with everything: a full copy of your site, your database, your domain transferred into your own name, and every login we hold. We don't hold your business hostage to keep you as a customer. If we're not earning $99 a month, you shouldn't be paying it.
We'll tell you if you don't need us.
FAQ
$99/mo for The Essentials, $199/mo for The Growth Plan, and $449/mo for The Enterprise Plan. Hosting is included in every one of those — it is not a separate line item and there is no setup fee.
If you need a site built from scratch, that's a one-time $499 and up depending on page count and complexity. It's split in two: 40% up front before the build starts, and the remaining 60% when the build is complete — you see the finished site before you pay the balance. That 40% deposit is refundable for 14 days — change your mind within two weeks of paying and you get it back in full. After that it's non-refundable, because the work is already underway.
That's the entire price list. Nothing else appears on your invoice.
For care plans, yes — hosting is included because we can't promise uptime on a server we don't control. We handle the entire migration ourselves, usually overnight, and your site does not go down while we do it. You don't need to find any passwords; we'll walk you through recovering whatever you've lost.
No. Once you're on a plan, you cancel that old hosting bill. Small-business hosting typically runs $25–$40 a month — often for a control panel you never log into — plus a domain renewal you forgot about. That comes off your books the day we migrate.
On Growth, most change requests are done within one business day and always within two. Enterprise is same or next business day, top of the queue. Most land the same afternoon. If your site is down, monitoring alerts us before you notice and we're on it immediately, any hour, on every plan. Not just the expensive one.
You get a phone number and an email address that reach a person, not a queue.
You cancel. There's no contract and no notice period. Within 30 days of signing up, the 30-Day Walk-Away Guarantee refunds that month's plan fee — less any change requests or project work we actually delivered during the window, itemized before we charge anything.
Either way you leave with a full export of your site and database, your domain transferred into your own name, and every credential we hold. Holding a small business's website hostage is a scummy way to run a company.
Yes, and we state it plainly rather than burying it. We work in 30-minute change requests. Anything we can finish in half an hour — swapping a photo, updating your hours, fixing a form, posting a special, adding a section — is one request.
Essentials includes 2 requests a month. Growth and Enterprise are unlimited: send as many as you want. Growth runs one at a time, Enterprise runs up to three at once and jumps the queue.
If something takes longer than 30 minutes, we tell you before we start and quote it. You will never open an invoice and find a charge you didn't agree to. Full redesigns, custom development, logo and graphic design, and written content are builds, not requests — we quote those separately.
That's where we're based and where most clients are — Ashburn, Herndon, Reston, Sterling, Leesburg, Centreville, Manassas, Fairfax. Being local matters for Google Business Profile work and for the fact that you can meet us in person.
We do take clients outside the area. Everything except the in-person handshake works the same.
We'll still manage the parts we can — Google Business Profile, content updates, SEO health, compliance — but hosting, backups, and server security are controlled by that platform, not by us. On a free audit we'll tell you honestly whether moving is worth it for your business or whether you should stay put and pay us less.
